The Moot Court Association (MCA) of Erode College of Law was formally inaugurated on February 4, 2025, under the guidance of Dr N. Md. Akbar Ali Baig, Associate Professor of Law, though the college itself commenced in 2022. The association is organised with a structured framework comprising the president, vice president, general secretary, additional secretary, joint secretary, class representatives from each class, faculty coordinators, and legal mentors. This structure ensures effective administration and active student participation in all academic and professional activities.

Since it started, the MCA has regularly supported advocacy training by holding moot court competitions within and between colleges in both Tamil and English, giving students hands-on experience with courtroom processes and legal arguments. Among its distinguished achievements, the association successfully organised the First National Level Drafting Competition in 2025, with participation from 60 colleges across India. In September 2025, the MCA further solidified its reputation by hosting the First National Level Moot Court Competition, which attracted 64 teams from institutions nationwide, marking a significant milestone in the college’s academic journey.

At present, Our association coordinator is  dedicated mentorship, together with the active involvement of student leaders and legal mentors, ensures that the MCA continues to serve as a premier platform for academic excellence, professional training, and the advancement of legal advocacy skills.
