Mr. S. N. Paramasivam, Advocate, is a distinguished legal academician and practitioner with over four decades of experience in the fields of Law, Legal Education and Advocacy. He enrolled as an Advocate in 1980 and began his teaching career in 1983, bringing together the practical insights of the Bar and the intellectual rigour of legal academia.

He holds a B.A. in Economics, B.L. in Law, M.A. in Political Science, and M.L. in Property Law, in which he secured an ‘A’ Grade. His multidisciplinary academic background has enriched his approach to legal education, enabling him to connect legal principles with their wider social, political and economic dimensions.

Having devoted several decades to teaching and mentoring students of law, he has played an important role in shaping generations of young legal professionals. His extensive experience at the Bar and in academia gives him a distinctive perspective on both the theory and practice of law.

Currently serving as Advisor and Professor at Erode College of Law, he continues to contribute to the institution through his academic guidance, professional experience and commitment to the development of legal education. His career reflects a lasting dedication to law, learning, mentorship and the legal profession.
