Dr. D. Sendhilkumar

M.A.,M.Phil., Ph.D

Dr. D. Sendhilkumar is an accomplished academician and researcher who holds his M.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D. from the School of International Relations and Centre for South Asian Studies, Pondicherry Central University. His doctoral research, titled “India’s Role in Afghanistan Reconstruction Activities Since 2001–2010: A Critical Study,” reflects his academic interest in international relations, diplomacy and contemporary geopolitical affairs.

His areas of academic interest encompass international political systems, global power structures, international peace and security, nuclear policies, climate change, global economics, industrialisation, liberalisation and South Asian affairs. He has also engaged with important contemporary issues including international terrorism, human trafficking, migration, asylum, gender equality, women's empowerment, poverty, famine and drought.

Dr. Sendhilkumar has authored more than 25 research articles covering diverse social, economic and political themes. He has also authored two books, “An Importance of India’s International Relations in this Contemporary Conflict World” and “Dynamic Social Service of the Erode College of Law’s NSS Unit.”

He has actively participated in numerous national and international seminars, conferences, workshops and academic programmes, continually enriching his knowledge and research capabilities.

Following his doctoral studies, Dr. Sendhilkumar has served as an Assistant Professor in government and private colleges, while also undertaking significant extracurricular and institutional responsibilities, including NCC Care Taker, UPSC Trainer and NSS Programme Officer.

As an educator, he is deeply committed to the academic and career development of students, believing that young people are the vital human resources and future architects of India's progress. His teaching philosophy emphasises knowledge, leadership, social responsibility and holistic development.
