Dr. M. VADIVEL is a highly accomplished academic currently serving as the Head of the Department and Assistant Professor of Economics, bringing over ten years of teaching, research, and administrative experience to higher education. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics, awarded with a highly commended distinction in 2015 from Gobi Arts and Science College, alongside an M.Phil., and an M.A., in Economics from Bharathiar University. A dedicated lifelong learner, Dr. Vadivel expanded his interdisciplinary skills with an M.A. in Political Science and Public Administration, an M.Ed. from Jairuba College of Education, a B.Ed. from Sri Ragavendra College of Education, and two computer science diplomas (PGDMIS and PGDCA).

Dr. M.Vadivel professional journey includes leading the economics department at the Erode College of Law for three years, serving as an Assistant Professor at Thiruthangal Nadar College in Chennai for four years, teaching at St. Joseph University in Nagaland for one year, and working as a Guest Lecturer at Erode Arts and Science College.

Beyond the classroom, Dr. Vadivel actively contributes to academia as a postgraduate research guide, an examination question paper setter, an external examiner, and a member of various examination cells and research committees. He is also a frequent presenter at national and international conferences and a published author of numerous research articles focusing on core economic issues in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. M. Vadivel served as a session chair and scientific committee member for multiple international conferences organized by the Center for Academic and Professional Career Development and Research (CAPCDR) in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
