The Women Grievance Redressal Committee (WGRC) of Erode College of Law, Erode, is established to promote the safety, dignity, and well-being of women students, teaching faculty, and non-teaching staff. The Committee provides an effective and confidential platform for addressing grievances, ensuring fair redressal, and fostering a gender-sensitive, inclusive, and respectful campus environment.

To create a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment where every woman is treated with dignity, equality, and respect, enabling her to pursue academic and professional excellence without fear of discrimination or harassment.

FUNCTIONS OF THE COMMITTEE

Receive and address grievances submitted by women students and employees.

Conduct a fair, impartial, and confidential inquiry into complaints.

Recommend appropriate remedial and preventive measures.

Organise awareness programmes, workshops, and counselling sessions on women's rights and safety.

Encourage reporting of grievances without fear of retaliation.

Coordinate with the college administration for effective grievance redressal and institutional support.
